SeeUThere uses a credit-based system to manage premium features and ensure sustainable service quality. Credits are your way to unlock the full potential of event planning and group coordination.
Credits are SeeUThere's in-app currency that you use to create events and access advanced features. Think of them as tokens that unlock the app's powerful planning capabilities.
Why Credits?
The credit system allows us to:
- Avoid Subscriptions - We didn't want to add another subscription service to the market. Credits are more flexible - buy only when you need them
- Maintain Service Quality - Credits help us provide reliable servers and fast response times
- Prevent Spam - A small cost for creating events keeps the platform focused and meaningful
- Enable Advanced Features - AI-powered smart planning and complex group coordination require resources
Every new user starts with 50 free credits to explore all of SeeUThere's features. That's enough for 5 regular events or 3 planning events!
What Do Credits Do?

Your credits never expire! Purchase them once and use them whenever you need to create events or access premium features.
How Credits Work
Credit Deduction
Credits are deducted from your balance when you:
- Create an event - Credits are charged immediately upon creation
- Create a new group - 0-40 credits depending on group size (basic groups up to 6 members are free)
- Use Smart Planning - Additional 5 credits on top of base event cost
Credit Balance
You can always check your current credit balance in the app:
- View balance in your profile screen
- See remaining credits before creating events
- Get low balance warnings when you have fewer than 20 credits
If you don't have enough credits for an action, you'll be prompted to purchase more. The app will show you exactly how many credits you need and available purchase options.
Refund Information
SeeUThere has comprehensive refund policies for both event deletions and credit purchases:
Delete any event within 30 minutes of creation to receive an automatic, full credit refund. No questions asked!
Credit purchases follow Apple App Store and Google Play policies. Refunds are handled directly through these platforms.

Do credits expire?
No! Your credits never expire. Purchase them once and use them whenever you need to create events.
Can I share credits with friends?
Currently, credits are tied to individual accounts and cannot be transferred. However, anyone can create events and invite others regardless of their credit balance.
What happens if I delete an event?
If you delete an event within 30 minutes of creation, you'll receive a full automatic refund of all credits used. After 30 minutes, no refunds are available. Learn more about refund eligibility →
Can I get free credits?
New users receive 50 free credits. We occasionally run promotions for additional free credits - follow our updates for announcements!
Why do Planning Events cost more than Regular Events?
Planning Events require more server resources for real-time voting, result calculations, and ongoing management until the event is finalized.
