Credit Pricing & Purchasing Guide
Ready to purchase credits for SeeUThere? This guide covers everything you need to know about our credit packages, how to buy them, and what to expect during the purchasing process.
You can purchase credits from multiple places in the app: your Profile screen, when you encounter insufficient credits dialogs, or through the Manage Credits section.
Credit Costs
Basic groups (up to 6 members) are free. Larger groups cost 10-40 credits based on size: 12 members (10), 18 members (15), 24 members (20), 30 members (25), 50 members (40).
Available Credit Packages
SeeUThere offers four different credit packages to match your event planning needs. Prices are managed by the App Store and Google Play Store, so you'll see current regional pricing when you make your purchase.
💡 Choosing the Right Package
Consider your typical event planning frequency. If you organize 2-3 events per month, the Standard Pack (250 credits) typically lasts 3-4 months depending on your mix of regular and planning events.
How to Purchase Credits
There are several ways to access the credit purchasing screen in SeeUThere:
From Your Profile
Go to your Profile screen and tap "Manage Credits" to view your current balance and purchase options.
When Creating Events
If you don't have enough credits to create an event, you'll see an "Insufficient Credits" dialog with a direct purchase option.
Step-by-Step Purchase Process
Select Your Package
Choose from the four available credit packages based on your needs. Each package shows exactly how many events you can create.
App Store Checkout
You'll be redirected to your device's app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) to complete the purchase using your existing payment methods.
Automatic Credit Addition
Once your purchase is confirmed by the app store, credits are automatically added to your account balance. This usually happens within seconds.
Purchase Confirmation
You'll see a success dialog confirming your credit purchase and your new account balance. You can immediately start using your credits!

SeeUThere credit purchases are processed through your device's app store, which means you can use any payment method you've already set up:

All credit purchases are processed securely through Apple and Google's payment systems. SeeUThere never sees or stores your payment information.
What Happens After Purchase
Immediate Credit Addition
Credits are added to your account automatically within seconds of a successful purchase. No manual activation required.
Purchase Receipt
You'll receive an email receipt from Apple or Google for your purchase records. Keep this for your records.
Success Confirmation
SeeUThere shows a success dialog with your new credit balance, confirming the purchase was processed correctly.
Ready to Use
Your credits are immediately available for creating events, groups, or any other credit-based features.
Purchase Troubleshooting
❌ Purchase Failed or Canceled
Possible causes:
- Insufficient funds in your payment method
- Network connection issues during checkout
- App store account restrictions
- You canceled the purchase in the app store
Solution: Try the purchase again, check your payment method, or contact your app store's support team.
⏰ Credits Didn't Appear
Possible causes:
- Network delay between app store and SeeUThere
- App needs to be refreshed to sync purchase
- Very rare processing delays
Solution: Force-close and reopen the app, check your internet connection, or wait a few minutes and check again.
💳 Charged But No Credits
What to do:
- Check your app store purchase history to confirm the charge
- Force-close and restart the SeeUThere app
- Check your credit balance in Profile > Manage Credits
- Contact our support team with your purchase receipt

🔄 Duplicate Charges
Possible causes:
- Multiple taps during checkout
- Network timeouts causing retry
- App store processing error

- Credits are tied to your SeeUThere account and cannot be transferred between accounts
- Purchases are processed by your device's app store, not directly by SeeUThere
- Credits never expire - purchase once and use anytime
- Refunds must be requested through your app store within their refund window
