Best Practices
Before Creating
- Check Credits: Ensure you have at least 10 credits
- Plan Details: Have your date, time, and location ready
- Friend List: Make sure you've added the people you want to invite
When Creating
- Clear Title: Use descriptive titles that explain what the event is about
- Detailed Description: Provide context and any special instructions
- Realistic Timing: Allow adequate time for the event
- Consider Timezones: Be mindful if inviting international friends
After Creating
- Monitor Responses: Keep track of who has responded
- Send Reminders: Use the reminder feature for pending participants
- Update if Needed: Make changes if plans evolve
- Communicate: Use other channels for detailed coordination if needed
Regular events work best for gatherings where you have a confirmed date, time, and location. For events where you need to coordinate timing with your group, consider using Planning Events instead.
