Creating Regular Events
Creating a regular event is a simple 5-step process that guides you through all the necessary details.
You need at least 10 credits in your account to create a regular event. The credits will be charged after successful event creation.
Step-by-Step Creation Process
Choose "Regular Event" from the available options. The app will verify you have sufficient credits (10) before allowing you to proceed.
Enter the core information about your event:
• Title: 3-100 characters (only truly required field)
• Description: Up to 500 characters
• Event Type: Defaults to 'Social', options: Sports, Business, Education, Entertainment, Vacation, Trip, Celebration, Gaming, Other
• Location: Up to 200 characters (required for in-person events)
• Online Link: Up to 200 characters (optional for online events)
Set when your event will take place:
- Start Date & Time: When the event begins (required)
- End Date & Time: When the event ends (required, defaults to 2 hours after start)
- Timezone: Automatically handled based on your location
The app automatically adjusts timezones for all participants. Everyone sees event times in their local timezone.
Choose who to invite to your event:
- Individual Friends: Select specific friends from your friend list
- Friend Groups: Invite entire friend groups at once
- Minimum Participants: Optionally set a minimum number of participants required
• Search through friends and groups in real-time
• Automatic deduplication if someone is in multiple selected groups
• Visual participant count and progress tracking
• You as the creator are automatically excluded from participant count
Final review of your event before creation:
- Review all event details in organized cards
- See participant list with avatars and usernames
- Timezone warnings if participants are in different zones
- Confirm 10 credit charge
You'll see a confirmation dialog showing "You will be charged 10 credits" and the number of participants being invited. Once you confirm, the event is created and credits are deducted.
