Troubleshooting Common Issues
Can't Find Someone by Username
- Make sure you have the exact username (usernames are case-sensitive)
- Check that you're not already friends or have a pending request
- Ask them to double-check their username in their profile
Contact Sync Not Working
- Ensure you've granted contact permissions in device settings
- Make sure your friends have verified their phone numbers in SeeUThere
- Remember that only contacts with phone numbers will be processed
Not Receiving Friend Request Notifications
- Check that push notifications are enabled for SeeUThere
- Look in the Friends tab for pending requests (they appear even without notifications)
- Check your notification settings in the app's Settings tab
